Tres Generaciones Tequila has released the second bottle in its Legacy Edition Series: La Colonial Reposado. This series is a tribute to the three generations of Sauza family members who have contributed to the brand’s heritage, and will feature a new release each year. La Colonial Reposado is inspired by the second Don of Familia Sauza, Don Eladio, and the first night club he founded in Guadalajara, La Colonial Club. This limited edition Reposado was made using traditional tequila-making methods, including tahona stone crushing of the cooked agave, and aged for two months in charred American white oak barrels. The result is a smooth, golden liquid with subtle notes of vanilla and smoke. This tequila is a celebration of the Sauza family’s long-standing commitment to their craft, which began in 1973 with the creation of Tres Generaciones.
